• The weight of this rice grain, however, is high. The fragile short grains of Ambemohar rice look round and small. They fluff up once cooked and tend to get bonded together. They easily break and so are considered ideal for elders and kids.

• This rice is used to make a milk-based soup known as Bhatachi Pej or Rice Kanji in the nearby area. It’s also a popular choice for religious and wedding ceremonies.
